If both the modules of the Safer Driver Course are completed, learner drivers will have 20 hours reduced in their logbook i.e they will need 100 hours more. After your first initial lesson, please have a chat with your driving instructor about completing future lessons in your own manual transmission vehicle. In this instance your vehicle must be comprehensively insured and meet our roadworthy requirements. Whilst driving lessons in a manual transmission vehicle are available, sessions are limited and only available in selected areas.
The minimum age for drivers varies by country, including Sydney CBD. As a rule, you’ll need to be 21 to hire a car abroad, and a young driver surcharge may be applied if you are under 25. We recommend reading through the policy of your chosen hire company before booking.

Tommy’s 101 Driving School boasts the best driving instructors, and they helped me pass my Ps test with the confidence I needed. She may have her funny moments, but she always has the best intentions in teaching you while driving. I booked a couple of lessons with Tom who was very helpful in guiding and coaching me to be a safe driver. Not only did I pass on my first attempt, but I passed with flying colours! Tom’s relaxed demeanour and his way of teaching helped me to sharpen my skills, look out for hazards and understand what I was doing wrong.
I passed my P's test first try, and I owe so much of that to my instructor Lien. She was so patient, calm, and supportive, which really helped me feel confident and relaxed while driving. Lien explained everything clearly and never made me feel stressed or judged if I made mistakes.
