AMS Music Centre provides flexible, supportive lessons for adult learners. The focus is on personal goals and enjoyment, with formal assessments only included when students specifically request them. At Glen Waverley Primary School we are fortunate to offer a large and vibrant music program. Students learn music from Foundation to Year 6 and have the opportunity to participate in Senior Choir, Junior Choir, String Ensemble, School Band and Drum Ensemble. Amongst these performance opportunities are our Student Recitals, which are usually held during June and November.

Whether it's high intensity or keeping fit with slow and meaningful movements, participate your way. Music Examinations are a great way for students to set goals for themselves and be accredited for their achievements. Throughout the year, we prepare and enrol many students to do Music Examinations such as the AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board) with many of our students achieving excellent results.
Each week we will have one new word and picture to strengthen child’s visualisation skill. Children are encouraged to bring their own related item each week to class to enhance the fun learning. New families are allowed to trial the GymbaROO program first for 3 consecutive weeks for the cost of $88.50.
Glen Music also provides individual and group music theory classes during school terms. We also provide intensive individual music theory classes. It helps students utilising long holidays to achieve a music theory grade (AMEB) in a short time. Different classes are designed for students of all ages ranging from 3 years old to adults. Learning a musical instrument with the right music lessons takes time, patience and most importantly, regular practice. At AMS Music Centre, we help students of all ages and levels master the art of music with expertly designed lessons for them.

His skills and body confidence have developed a long way since joining, almost always outdoing kids at school. The dance school is located in Glen Waverley, in Melbourne's outer Eastern Suburbs and conveniently located within five minutes walk of The Glen. Ballet classes are taught in the R.A.D. syllabus and aim to inspire artistry as well teaching technique in an enjoyable and encouraging environment. My son has been learning with Scott for about a year and he is absolutely enjoying his lessons. He has been able to learn techniques that his previous teacher weren't able to teach and we are very happy with Scott's teaching method. We would highly recommend Scott to any one who is thinking of learning drums.
