Our 4-year-old kindergarten program builds on the skills developed in the 3-year-old program, focusing on school readiness, emotional intelligence, and fostering a love for learning. Our qualified Early Childhood Teachers, registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT), create a play-based environment that nurtures creativity, problem-solving, and resilience. At Bayswater Childcare and Kinder, our early learning programs are designed to give children the best start in life. Our 3 & 4 Years Old Kindergarten program are eligible for the Victorian Government’s kindergarten funding.
Uniting offers exceptional kindergarten programs across Victoria, focusing on early childhood development, inclusivity, and community involvement. In our program, missing a day typically does not impact the 15 hours of funded kinder provided by the government. However, if your child is enrolled for care beyond the funded kinder session, you may still be charged for the additional hours at the standard daily rate. A kindergarten program is run during long day care for 3-year-old and 4-year-old children enrolled in our long day care program. Our kindergarten has early childhood qualified and registered teachers. The teachers are dedicated to, and passionate about, early childhood education.

On the day of the tour, you can observe practices and interactions within the centre environment. You’ll be able to see all the rooms and playgrounds, ask the team members any questions you have in mind, and get all the information you need to make the best decision for your child. We offer a rotating seasonal menu, providing breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and a late snack, all freshly made daily. We cater for all children’s dietary requirement, preferences and cultural requirements, including halal and kosher.
This is on schedule to be finalised by August 2024 in time for kindergarten in 2025. This breaks down to $166 per day for babies, $138 per day for toddlers and $166 per day for kindergarten.
