It can also be fun to try like a maguro tasting plate, with various cuts (everything from lean “red meat” to really fatty otoro). Nestled in the quiet suburb of Shirakabe, Taiko's flagship restaurant specializes in traditional Japanese favourites Shabu-shabu and Kaiseki cuisine. The sirloin steak is the main dish in the bento, and the seafood “Chirashi sushi ” is also popular. The Kaiseki Bento from “Aiya” lunchtime is also recommended for special days. They have various reasonably priced lunch such as daily lunch, weekly fish lunch, popular standard lunch, etc.
If using electricity, you will need to use a normal pot but taste and experience-wise, the gas burner with Donabe is recommended. We have installed a custom steam that has been modified exclusively for MK Restaurants. Because it is steamed all at once with strong steam, the skin of Dim Sum is soft and the bean paste is juicy. In addition, the steamed domestic vegetables in the lunch set and the steamed lettuce in the premium course are steamed without losing the deliciousness and nutrition of the vegetables.

Wako is a tonkatsu restaurant that you find in many station or department stores. The tonkatsu is a Japanese style pork fry, and the most common menu that I recommend you to order is “ロースかつ” Roast Katsu. Depending on the location, usually rice and cabbage has free refills. Miso soup that comes with tonkatsu is Shijimi JIru – a black small shells that give bitter deep flavor. You don’t have to eat the inside of the shell when you order a refill.
