Don't use a human hair dryer on your dog; most will be frightened by the noise and feeling, and they run much too hot to use on dogs. If you want to dry your dog quickly, you can purchase specific air-dryers for dogs.
The beach is located in Olympic National Park but access to the beach is on the Makah Reservation. To visit Shi Shi Beach, not only do you need to pay the Olympic pet grooming National Park fee but you will also need a Makah Recreation Pass. The hike to Shi Shi Beach is typically done as a long day hike or an overnight backpacking trip.
Midday the parking lot was nearly full and being that it’s such a short trail, things can get a little backed up. This trail was such a great addition to our trip! So many things to see (the old railroad tunnel, cool bridges, lake access, etc.) and it was a great opportunity to get some more exercise in.
This dynamic structure affords spectacular views of the Elwha river valley, and in the fall, migrating coho salmon. Clallam County completed a spectacular 6 mile asphalt trail segment crossing the Sol Duc River, through mature forest to the Camp Creek Trailhead. They also extended the previously paved 6.5 miles from Lake Crescent by 1.5 miles past the Sol Duc Road, and put in a trail crossing of Hwy 101. Clallam County’s Countywide Policy Plan, required by Washington State’s Growth Management Act, was adopted.

Having to flag someone over so we could order dessert after we stacked our plates up in the hope of drawing attention to the fact we had finished mains was also disappointing... Striploin steak cooked as per request...Beef cheef was fork tender... Potatoes (pan fried with honey & lardons), delicious accompaniment to mains. Dessert - lemon curd tart - just as a lemon dessert should be... The brilliant food concealed in a hotel really deserves its own space. Beautifully furnished with well chosen wine list to match the food.
If you’re really looking to stretch your legs, you can add on an additional 7 miles roundtrip to the secluded Upper Lena Lake and spectacular views of Mount Bretherton and Mount Lena. Grand Valley contains a beautiful chain of alpine lakes, all easily accessible from Obstruction Point. Permits for this area are competitive, though, so make sure to apply in advance. Head South on the Grand Pass trail, following Lillian Ridge and taking in views of wildflowers and mountains all around, and then drop steeply down into Grand Valley. There are three different campgrounds to choose from, each next to a gorgeous lake. Stay for one night for a quick weekend trip, or stay tw0 nights and relax next to a lake on the middle day or hike up to Grand Pass for amazing views further to the South.
Choose between a cabin on the shores of Lake Sutherland, which are a good blend of modern amenities and beautiful location, or a more rustic stay nearby. Port Angeles is the biggest city on the border of Olympic National Park, which makes it a good home base if you’re looking to be close to amenities like gas, restaurants, and grocery stores. All other campgrounds, including Heart O’ the Hills Campground and Ozette Campground are first-come, first-served. While we’re using Mora as an illustration here, some version of that is true for all of the campgrounds that you can reserve in advance. During those months, you’ll need to book in advance.

Also, wait until they are bone dry before brushing them again. Dogs only need bathing if they look dirty or are beginning to smell. Once a month is perfectly adequate; they have oils in their coat that keeps them looking shiny and nice between times. If you have a dog with difficult skin your vet may advise you otherwise.
Unfortunately the service wasn't very great and the tables wernt cleaned, filled with dirty plates. Customers were waiting for seats and had to ask for the tables to be cleaned. Everything we ordered was delicious and full of flavour.
For all properties, there is a $25.00 non-refundable fee per dog per stay, due at check-in. Finish your 3 days in Olympic National Park with magic! Keep an eye for deer, the northern spotted owl, elk, raccoon, and black bear. The Hoh rainforest is cool and damp, quiet, and it smells wonderful. To get here, it is a 1.6 mile one-way hike through a forest.
